Check in time is anytime after 3:00 PM, and check-out time is by 10AM.
Should you desire an early check-in or late check-out, please contact us prior to your arrival with your request, and we will do all we can to accommodate you.
Is there any cancellation penalty?
As a small business, late cancellations impact our business and other guests. Please book your stay carefully and contact us with any questions prior to making a reservation.
Until 30 days prior to arrival, in case of cancellation no penalty charges will be applied.
From 29 days to arrival, any individual cancellation will be billed at 100% of the stay reserved.
Any “no-shows” (guaranteed bungalows that are not occupied on the day of arrival) shall be invoiced on the basis of 100% of the stay.
Does Black’s Island have internet service? Do you have WiFi? Will my cell phone work on the island?
Black’s Island is the perfect place for a digital detox. Our bungalows are unplugged. There are no TVs, phones, or radios, so that guests can focus on the rugged natural beauty and breathtaking views.
But don’t worry! We are close enough to the mainland that cell service is excellent. And if you just have to check email, or you want to watch the big game, we have WiFi and Cable Television in our Clubhouse.

Along with fresh sheets and linens, sustainable furniture, and eco-friendly toiletries, each bungalow is stocked with all the modern conveniences of home.
From peeler to juicer, chef’s knives to ceramic mugs & plates, you’ll have everything you need.

We love animals, but are not currently set up for you to bring pets to the island.
