Surrounding the island are miles of grass bottom teaming with sea life, from huge sharks to tiny sea scallops. Bungalows that resemble something from Fiji or Bora Bora. It is spectacular. Our trip was stress free, scalloping, fishing, cooking, and hanging out with the gang of kids. The weekend, as all great weekends do, seemed to go by way too quickly. – SEAN MURPHY
If you were to pinpoint Black’s Island on a map and compare it to the path of devastation taken by Hurricane Michael, you’d come to one conclusion: The odds were definitely not in its favor.
