How To Get Here

Black’s Island is only accessible by boat or aircraft. Ferry service is irregular, and must be pre-arranged in advance of your arrival. We can accommodate most vessels up to 50′, and regularly welcome our fly-in guests via seaplane and helicopter. It is a pleasant 10 minute trip between mainland and island.

By Air: Panama City Beach International Airport (ECP) is just under 1.5 hour drive from our mainland marina. Private pilots may wish to fly into Apalachicola Regional Airport, which is only 20-30 minutes away.

What To Pack

Pack as you would for any vacation home rental: your favorite sunscreen, insect repellent, bait & tackle, bottled water, juice, breakfast foodstuffs, beer, snacks, staples, a little something to grill… You know what you like best!

Our bungalows are fully equipped private residences with all the comforts of home, including modern kitchens offering a full range stovetop and oven, large refrigerator & freezer, filtered ice maker, microwaves, coffee makers and sustainable ceramic mugs, cookware, glassware, dishes, sharp knives and utensils. 

Don’t worry about picking up paper towels, laundry detergent or garbage bags on your supply run – we’ve got you covered!
